JOSH'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!!

It's a special day for him and for me too, remembering the day my youngest son was born!

I remember every detail of that day like it was yesterday even tho it was 38 yrs ago...👀

In those few (!) years, he has been successful in business, being a loving husband...

a wonderful father...

a cool little brother...

and he's been working for the last 6 months, with his bride, building their forever home!!

He even likes to sit with my PoppyPearl!!

So, when he's not working at his job or working on their house or playing with those boys...we all know what he likes to do!

and SOMETIMES..

he just chills!!!!

It's Cap'n's Day Today!

Know what makes our Cap'n happy on any day???  Not just on his birthday???!!!

Riding around in his vintage baby like this one!!

Duck hunting with his boys and his grandchildren!!

Having his kids and grandkids help him in his garden....this day, it was picking and shelling purple hull peas!

Riding in his tractor!

Taking his bride (ME!) on boat rides and stopping to pick lily's from the water for me!

And most importantly.....being close to our babygirl....PoppyPearl!!

 Baby Lane is 8 today!!!  Altho, in years, he's not a baby anymore but because he's our youngest grandchild, he will always be our baby 💗

He's 8 today!!!

Such a cool kid!!  and funny? Why, he makes us all laugh all the time!!

Definitely loves his Dad!

And loves to learn from him!  (be just like him!!!)

He's a potato picker with his dad, brother and his Cap'n!

and LOVES to dress up for every occasion during the school year!

Waiting for deer camp breakfasts with his cousins...

as well as piling up on them too!!

He even goes 4wheeler riding with his ol' YaYa!!!!

How proud were we when he received the "excellent character" award at his school a few weeks ago!!!!

But more than anything, he loves his family so much!!

And a part of the duck blind cousin crew!!

As well as the 2nd member of the Crazy Cousin Crew!!

I have a feeling that this birthday boy will be exactly this kind of friend.....
