A TEENAGER??? LILLI.....YOU'RE STILL OUR BABYGIRL!!!!

 

Lilli on her first birthday!  See her cutting her eyes at her mama??? That look was all about cake....now she looks at her mama like that and you can bet she wants something WITH that cake!!!!!

How, oh How ... can she be 13 yrs old today???

She's in middle school now and has picked right back up after the NOT FUN year of pandemic. She's a good student and has been active in horseback riding and softball and national honor society.  Throw in the casual Friday night party and time spent with her friends, not to mention that she's just the cutest girl in all the land! Said by her unbiased YaYa!!!

Once the fall season began, it was also time to begin her hunting career....and boy has she ever tackled that with perseverance!  She loves it!  Not only is she very good but her dad is pretty darn proud of her.  Not to mention her granddad too!  She hangs out with all the guys at the deer camp on hunting weekends, uncles and friends, and they love her being with them.  She never complains or gripes but always stays focused and alert!

And she's also a chicken mom!!

They got a coop and a bunch of chicks and last week, they found this!

I told her I'd be there soon with my egg-pickin'-up basket!!

HAILEY IS HAPPY TODAY!!!

This girl is not only crazy and oh, so fun to be with...

But she's also the most wonderful mom to my two most adorable grandsons...

And wife to my babyboy that she loves with all of her heart 💖!!

She's also our event coordinator for most family gatherings!!

Josey is 8 Today!!!

She's a real life Princess!!!!!

with just a lil bit of SASS!!!

and we wouldn't want it any other way!

If I had to describe my granddaughter, I'd have to begin with HAPPY!  She's always smiling and laughing and has that cool ability to make all those around her happy too!

She's loves gymnastics and is constantly cart-wheeling all around the house and sharing those times with her cousin Katie!

She is a loving sister to her big brother and although they have the normal sibling squabbles, their relationship is awesome....like they really like each other!

I cherish the times I get to spend with her.

If I had to sum up what I'd like to teach her....

If I could give my granddaughter three things it would be the confidence to always know her self-worth, the strength to chase her dreams and the ability to know how truly, deeply loved she is.

• I see all my hopes in life shining back at me in my granddaughter's eyes!!
