WHOSE BIRTHDAY HAVE WE CELEBRATED???? 4-26-2022

Why it's KATIEJANE....that's who!!!!!    And yesterday, I had the honor of getting to take my 2nd granddaughter for a day of celebrating!!

We went to lunch at her fave restaurant..and a little shopping..and a little ice cream eating!!

If you've ever had the pleasure of being in the company of the sweetest, most polite and kindest little girl, then you know exactly how I feel about being with her!!

And she most definitely is well rounded with a whole lot of  loves in her life!

LOVES that mama!!!

LOVES that daddy!!!!  (and she's his new hunting buddy!)

and really LOVES that sister with all of her heart 💕 (even tho they argue like cats n dogs as all siblings do!)

Her other loves are many!!   First and foremost is her love of gymnastics!! She has been taking gymnastics classes for many years and just recently advanced to the highest level at the studio!!!

There is not a piece of ground or grass or empty surface in a house that she has NOT tumbled, done headstands, walkovers, cartwheels, round-offs and back walkovers on!!!!

And always with a huge smile on her face!!

Her best friend just so happens to be her cousin, Josey! And it just warms my heart to see how close they are, for I know they will always have each other's backs and take care of each other!

She loves ALL of her cousins and is happiest when they're all together!

LOVES to fish!

LOVES to play soccer!!

And of course, LOVES to get mani/pedis with her YaYa!!!

If I haven't made it very clear yet......this girl LOVES everything about her life!!!

She's always happy and such a kind hearted person.

We are SO proud to call her our granddaughter!!!

Especially on YOUR birthday!!!

Hmmmm.....what HAS been going on???

 Not a whole lot, to tell ya the truth!!!  It's been a quiet spring around here; albeit, I have spent some hours wringing my hands listening to news reports of tornadoes in our area......NOT FUN.  (while the cap'n snoozes away!!)

KatieJane and I did have a lil girl day while her mom and dad were on vaca...we had lunch and shopped and had the required mani/pedi!!!!

and another afternoon with the girls!

Mid March rolls around and we found out that our bi-annual gal pal trip to the beach was not going to be able to happen....which made me sad 😓

So, on a Friday, I decided I really needed a beach.  On Saturday, I scored reservations for a sweet lil condo.  On Sunday, I was doing this about 7am!!

Driving right toward the sunrise for the 8 hr drive to heaven!!!!

There have been T-ball games...

and soccer games...

Easter Sunday came in with all His Glory....even tho it was quiet around our house.  All the children are busy making memories with their own little ones and other families...just as we always hoped they'd do...but I always miss my little bitty boys who used to hunt eggs with such gusto every single yr!

Ahem.....until they were about 30!!!!!!!
