I don't know about ya'll but I am just all over the place these days....can't seem to focus on one thing long enough to get it on paper. And Lord knows, I've got the time to be doing it right now....insert eye roll!!
So, here it is almost Thanksgiving and I've yet to talk about our Halloween weekend. The one where we finally got to get our whole family together for the first time since lockdown!! Granted, we did stay outside the whole weekend but our weather was glorious and there are acres and acres of land to run, ride, admire and play on! When I tell you, my heart was smiling as huge as my smile was - just listening to the laughter and talking of 6 of the most beautiful, cool grandchildren on the planet......well, I'm just sayin'!!!
It's hard not to relax in such a beautiful place.....we are very blessed to have this farm to share with our family as well as the happiness in knowing that it will stay in our family for generations to come!
Even ms PoppyPearl needed a little vitamin D too!
Of course, there was ALOT of good food for the weekend!

Distancing was important but our group is pretty well groomed in keeping space between each other!

We even put a table out in the yard for the kids to eat their meals....like I said, it was a GORGEOUS weekend!!
We went out searching for a good spot for a YaYa picture....and found this one!!!
All my lil chicks in a row!
They sweetly posed in the first one and then got back to being themselves in next pic!!!
Sadly, Case and Lane had to leave after pics to go trick or treat with their other cousins but man, oh man.....was it ever fun having everyone together again!!
Back to the camp for more spooky activities!
Daddies and cousins carving pumpkins!!
My daughter in laws decorated the tractor shed for a Halloween festival party before trick or treating...
they decorated and had games for them to play...just like if they'd been at their real schools!
The kids had a blast!

For their trick or treating, they showed up at every one of our bedroom doors, where they were showered with goodies and even a few tricks!!!!
So Much Fun!!!!
The moral of this story is that no matter what our world is going thru right now....if we stick together as families and make the most of every situation, the children will be happy! Which in turn makes the parents and grandparents very happy!!!
We're not sure what Thanksgiving will bring but whatever ends up happening, this ol' YaYa will be cooking up a storm and providing all the traditional fare.....I have no doubt that it will get eaten some way or the other... we go with the flow! Isn't everyone now???!!!!!
We are having the most beautiful fall weather this year and I am appreciative for every dingle dangle day of it!!!!
