Just so happened that the very night she passed, the sky opened up and cried with us. Buckets and buckets of rain. Make that foot after foot of rain. Guess what happens when that happens...
Cap'ns "toy" was the only vehicle tall enough to get down the street the first few days...now, only way to get to the house is by boat.

Notice boat is sitting above our sea wall and in the yard next to pool. Anyone for a dive from the boat into pool????? Ridiculous.
Poor Cap'n. He's been on lake patrol every day and night. Making sure our house is safe and the boats don't knock into each other while being tied up out of the boathouse. He parks his truck at the top of the hill and boats to the house and back to the truck next morning to get to work.
I'm a sissy. I don't like living on an island unless its surrounded by white sand and tropical waters....
Something is changing Big Time in our weather system. This is 2nd big flood we've had in 2 yrs. Sunday will mark our 23rd yr owning our lakehouse and for first 10 yrs, we only lightly had water in the yard a couple of times. Me no likey.
