Make a Wish Birthday Girl!!!

If I had a time piece that would stop the clock, I would have used it on Saturday during ms. katiejane's birthday party....when she closed her eyes so tightly to make her wish as she was blowing out her candles!  She was so serious. She was so happy. She was SO precious.  I will never forget those moments on her special day!

I asked her today what her most favorite thing about her birthday party was and she looked at me with those great big brown eyes...and said...."ALL OF IT YAYA!!"

I have many pics to post but wanted to get this up before she goes to bed tonight....will be back for more on the Bubbles  &  Brunch party!

KatieJane's mom was very clever, having several different "bubble stations" for the kids to play in.

There was a bubble table.  A bubble wrap stomping area.  Kiddie pool with round (slimy) beads to play in, which the kids loved...and some of the grown-ups!  A water slide.

There are 10 of them under the age of 6. Do you know how hard it is to get a shot of all of them sitting still for a picture?  Ain't happening!

The weather was perfect!  All of our family was together! And our KatieJane loved ALL OF IT!!!

Today, it was lunch for the birthday girl at her fave mexican restaurant...

I've Been Shamed......!!!

...by my husband and my son.  Shamed, I tell ya!!!

They want to know why I haven't been blogging in a while.  Welllllllllll....just life, I s'pose!  I've been busy this week working in yard at lakehouse.  I'd been going thru withdrawal seeing all the flowers blooming in the shops and not having them in my yard.  But mah boyfriend worked very hard last weekend getting my beds cleaned out of all the muck from the flood waters and making our grass come back to life.  So I've been planting....you know, digging in the dirt.  MY kinda therapy....it's good for what ails ya!

Last week, I went over to see my Texas grandbabies and we spent a morning at the Dallas Aquarium....what fun!

Then we went to Gloria's for lunch....a delicious mexican food restaurant.  Ms. Thang decided to try some bean dip.......and man, oh man.....did she love it!

Looking forward to the weekend....Baby Lane will be baptised on Saturday and the whole gang will be together!

My plan is to get lots of pics but I'm finding myself having way too much fun with grandbabies and forgetting to get the images.  It's ok.  I've got so many pictures in my head while being in the moment with them!!!
