Josephine Reese!

It's that time again!!!  Last saturday, we got to see our bebe Josey!!!  Even tho she still has two more months to "cook" inside mom's belly, we got to see her thru the wonders of the 4D ultrasound.

Looks like she has a little pug nose, high cheekbones and of course....her daddy's eyebrows!  Isn't it just crazy how modern technology allows us the most amazing views??!

Nene and Big Daddy came to see as well as Josey's great grandmother who enjoyed her first time seeing an ultrasound.

Speaking of grandfathers.....once we got home from ultrasound, mr. austin had alot of work to do with his cap'n....riding around in the bronco..

We all loaded up and went to the deer camp to watch our LSU tigers whup up on Ole Miss!

WHAT a fun weekend we had!!

Even the "sisters" got along!!

When my daughter in law asked my grandson...he's 2 1/2!....if he would like for his YaYa to make him something good to eat this weekend, his reply was  "Scrambled eggs and bacon and ummmm sumpin spooky!!   That was all "I" needed to hear!!!

and then realized I better not get "too" spooky cuz these grandbabies are all still just babies.

(Lilli would die if she knew I referred to her as a baby!!)

So just made some fun spooky stuff for them.....

and a lil "treat" for the big goblins in my house!

Really?  It's October 17 mr./ms. Autumn.....

You know?  when the leaves all turn pretty colors and hence..FALL to the ground?

Nope.  Still hot. Still humid. Still summer round these parts!

Only way to see those orange, reds and golds around here is to throw some artificial stuff around the ol' mermaids neck!!

He makes me laugh so much....busy. Always so busy. NEVER stays in one place for very long. Always on the move....Remember the cartoon Family Circus??? He reminds me of that lil boy so much!!

More Reasons Why I Love Those Trips to Beach!

No. 2......fun things to do!
No. 3......good foods to eat and lil drinky poos!
No. 4......relaxation!

Just so happened to be the annual Butterfly Festival the weekend we were there and looky what we saw

we drove to Destin,,about an hour away, stopping all along the way to do a little flea market and vintage jewelry shopping....to attend the Seafood Festival.  It was here that I saw more seafood in one place than I've ever seen in all my life.....YUM!

I got to collect shells to my heart's content!!!  Brought back bags full that I plan to play with on a crafty day....ideas galore in my head. I've collected shells from beaches all over the caribbean in our travels aboard Blew Bayou too!

Sitting leisurely with coffee on our terrace looking out into the wild blue yonder as long as I wanted to!!

And when the sun gets SO hot in early afternoon, how nice to come back and take the best naps ever....only to hit the beach again just in time for sunset!

And speaking of sunsets????  God really outdid himself on this day!  His paintbrush was gloriously busy this afternoon....
