So, it's been 10 months.....

....since I had a new grandbebe come into my life.  Dontcha think it's time for another one??

Yep...mr. austin is going to be a big brother and his new baby is due on MY birthday!!! Heheheh....!!

Parents are my first born son and his sweet wife, rachel!!

We are over the moon happy for them!!!

Her birthday was last Friday and since they were coming in for the weekend, we waited to eat cake when everyone was here.

(this was a fun time in the BVI's last yr where the birthday girl was picking out her lobster for dinner!!)

What better way to celebrate our girl  than to have the whole family gather round for the Memorial Day weekend!  And gather we did!!

The first weekend of summer is always such a fun time with family and friends. Sunshine. Beverages. Good Food. Childen's laughter echoing thru the air...a perfect recipe for Good Times!

I made a deal with myself not to spend all weekend with my camera around my neck....sometimes I miss the best moments because my eyes are looking thru the lens. This weekend I just wanted to live each minute WITH them instead of IN FRONT of them.

Busy Busy Bees!

I have got some busy lil grandchillens!  They are constantly doing fun things and sharing with me .... which makes me one happy YaYa!
Last week, I went to Gymboree to watch mr. Case play with new friends and develop new skills.  He is such a ham for the camera!!

and while ms. Lilli was stylin' for her recital pics....

Lil KatieJane was prancin' in her own special way!!

This morning was Lilli's pre-school (4yr old) program at the church she attends. What makes this really special to me is that her daddy and his big brother went to this exact same preschool and were in the exact same room as Lilli is in now!!

But she was really loving watching the boys down on the front row do their thing! Notice how all the little girls are standing as they should.......but the two guys are well.....not!! (just what Lilli's dad prolly did when he was there!)

she got her diploma and she was OUTA THERE!!!

katiejane was mostly just interested in her own piece of cake!

SCHOOLS OUT FOR.....THE SUMMER!!!

Once I was back home, I got this pic from mr. austin,....his first ice cream cone and it looks like he's got it pretty well "licked"!!

And they're ALL coming to the lakehouse for Memorial Day!  WooooooHooooooo!!!

I am so humbled......

...to have 3 such strong, loving & wonderful moms in my life!  And that they are moms to my grandchildren!!

All mothers out there know that the very most important thing we want for our children is for them to find someone that loves them as much as we do....and all of my boys found that one!!

I still feel like the luckiest mom of all  because I have THE greatest sons of ALL time!!

and the boyfriend??  Well, he trimmed every single one of my rose bushes for me yesterday AND found certain ones for a bouquet for me!

He made it in an Uncle Si tea glass.......sweetest thing ever!!!

Dog Day Afternoon.......in living color!!

Our weather here has been beautiful and all of my garden flowers have popped with color.  We have enjoyed seeing the explosions!!  SophieJane has enjoyed her sunshine!

We've had a rollercoaster ride of some highs and lows around here the last few weeks.....enjoying God's handiwork is such good therapy.  Makes you realize that the simplest things can make you so happy!!
