Ciao!!

So...in only a few short hours, I'll be leavin' on a jet plane headed toward the trip of a lifetime!  I'm very excited but I have to admit, a teeny bit apprehensive as well.  I mean...really?  I'm an old woman with all these grandiose plans to take off to a foreign country, hike around like a youngster, meet and learn from people who will hopefully teach me a whole new culture..all the while, being away from family and friends.  If I didn't have such a cool family and a husband who is supporting me 100%, it wouldn't be possible.  I am blessed.

I get a "reading" everyday in my inbox from TUT from the Universe...I'm sure alot of you get it as well.  Mine, this morning, was very appropriate for this time in my life:

The deer camp is officially open for business!!  The guys moved all their "stuff" into the new cabin on Friday and took ownership that night.  I went to spend the night there Saturday night and it is truly amazing.  A beautiful place to spend cool fall afternoons and mornings watching my sons and their father bask in the loveliness of their Hunting World!

(teal season opened this morning and they got their limits, both mornings, which makes for oh, so happy little boys!)

what can they possibly all be looking at on the porch?  Oh.........maybe LSU whoop Washington's football team!  with the setting sun beside them!

 

Ms. Lilli always keeps herself very busy too...but my fave shot of the day had to be this one..

I'm baaaaaaaaack!!!

...for a few more days, at least!!  I got one word to say about the last week..............WHEW!
Three things going on..........1)  as you know, the hard drive in my computer crashed. I just got it back this afternoon and when I started using it, I realized my anti-virus was not there.  It took 3 hrs tonight to sit on the phone with them and have them restore it because of many kinks in the guts of the computer.  Um.....it's been gone for a week BEING FIXED.  Supposedly. I have lost all my favorites and all of ya'll's blog addys were there so would you PLEASE make a comment soon so I can add you to my new list?? Pretty plz!  Sure would be so much easier than trying to find ya'll thru searching.
2)  Baby Austin had a lil stomach virus last weekend when he was here and I got it.  Oh man....haven't been that sick in a long time. Prolly since I quit teaching school and caught all those high school germs!  But know what?  It forced me to rest and sleep for most of this week, when I had been planning on running myself crazy getting ready for trip.  Tonight, I feel more rested and relaxed than I have in a long time and that makes me so happy cuz I really wanna get on that plane feeling really good.  So see, ms austin's mom?  It was all in the plan!!  And my boyfriend took such good care of me.....just look at what I found when I finally drug myself outa the bed that first morning....

Is that not the most thoughtful thing ever???

3)  the packing of one carry-on bag that has to be under 26.5 lbs....combined with my backpack.  That may sound like alot of poundage to you, but to me.... Nada!  Two months worth of clothes and shoes and stuff all in one carry-on bag.  I have packed and unpacked it 3 times and cannot get it under 28 lbs.  Got a leetle stressed about it but in light of my new "relaxed state".....I'm just gonna go with what I've got and if they tell me to unload it.......I just will.  WHOA.....did I just say that? I must be on vacation already!!

So, all of this has been stuffed, shoved and cussed into a 21 inch bag.  Only to be re-packed once again tomorrow!  WHEW!

And probably the most exciting news is that ALL OF MY SONS AND MY BOYFRIEND HAVE MOVED INTO THEIR BELOVED BRAND SPANKING NEW DEER CAMP!! as of this afternoon!  I'm going tomorrow afternoon to take pics to share AND to watch our LSU Tigers play ball.  (will be the only game I get to watch for next 7 weeks)
